All our window blinds at Sundown Blinds are customised to the exact size that you require, all that we need from you is the ACTUAL SIZE of your window recess.
All we need to know is the (W)idth x (D)rop.
Always measure the width first, and measure it in two or three places, then state the minimum width. Please be aware of dado rails, tiles etc., and always measure between these points, otherwise your blind will be too wide. Measure the drop in two or three places also, taking care to watch for any sloping or uneven window sills.
When measuring a blind to fit on the outside of a window recess, we recommend that you measure past the window opening by approx. 50mm each side (100mm overall) to allow for greater privacy. When measuring the Drop of the window, always measure 100mm above the top of the window recess to allow for a better fixing position for the brackets, then measure down to the window sill.
